This Thursday July 29th, the finals of the Carrick on Suir summer Tag rugby league will take place at the club grounds. Almost ninety players in eight teams have taken part in the clubs first running of the summer event. The top four of those teams will battle it out in semi finals and then a final of the Butlers Electrical Cup competition, while the next four will play for the Mickey Pollard Plate competition. We are also having a barbeque and invite you to come along and join us. Included in you ten euro entry fee will be a plate of food and a drink. Action gets under way shortly after 7pm, look forward to seeing you there.
Thursday June 3rd saw the start of Tag rugby for the summer at Carrick Rugby club. Over fifty players took part,
most of whom were completely new to the game which is a fun and social non contact version of the game. It
continues every Thursday from 7 to 9pm at the club for males and females over 16.
