Now that we are at the start of a new rugby season, the club is holding a Registration Day for mini rugby this coming Sunday 12th September. We invite current and new rugby players, both boys and girls from aged 12 and younger to come along for registration and training from 10.30am to 12pm. Rugby training or matches take place each Sunday morning at this time. The registration fee is 20 euro for one child, 30 euro for two children from the same family, and 40 euro for three or more from the same family. So please bring interested players along. Also Youth training has also resumed, training for the under 13s, 15s, and 19s is on Tuesdays and Fridays between 6pm and 7.30pm. We look forward to seeing you there. We are taking orders from members for tickets for upcoming matches. Munster play Leinster on October 2nd in the Magners League in the Aviva Stadium, London Irish on October 9th away in the Heineken Cup and Australia on Tuesday 16th of November in a friendly in Thomond Park. Paid up members can order tickets for any of these matches by sending an email to Dermot on dermotfogarty@eircom.net no later than September 20th We are now accepting members annual subscription which is 75 euro, as a member you get access to Ireland and Munster match tickets including the Autumn series matches v South Africa, Samoa, New Zealand and Argentina. Members who pay by September 20th will be entered into a members draw for a pair of tickets to the Ireland v New Zealand match on Saturday November 20th. Membership can be paid to any committee member or sent to Dermot Fogarty, 1 Castlecourt, Carrick on Suir, Co. Tipperary. Finally now a reminder about our Jersey sponsorship draw, you can enter this draw for €50, sponsors will be drawn from all the entries to go on new jerseys for our under 17s, under 19s and girls team. The draw takes place on Tuesday 31st August.


Thursday June 3rd saw the start of Tag rugby for the summer at Carrick Rugby club. Over fifty players took part,

most of whom were completely new to the game which is a fun and social non contact version of the game. It

continues every Thursday from 7 to 9pm at the club for males and females over 16.
